Overview
What It Does
EOSYN Orbit is the access layer of the EOSYN Orbital Operating Stack. It sources multi-constellation Earth observation data, optical, radar (SAR), hyperspectral, and aerial, through agreements with data providers. There is no fleet to build or launch. Orbit negotiates access to the right data for a given mission, region, or revisit window.
At the centre of Orbit sits the Source Registry: a catalogue of providers indexed by resolution, revisit cadence, spectral bands, latency, and cost. A flood assessment in Southeast Asia might pull Sentinel-1 SAR for its cloud penetration. A vegetation stress analysis in Southern Europe calls on Sentinel-2 optical for spectral detail. The registry picks the right source for the question being asked.
Every access path carries an SLA on availability and latency. Orbit runs both live API queries and batch ingestion for historical backfills. Because there is no satellite capex, the savings pass straight through to your team's data budget.
